CSM Group: Education and Work for Young People | Meetings at Galilei High School, Conegliano
A Concrete Dialogue: The Orientation Initiative between School and Industry in Conegliano
Conegliano – In recent days, local companies teamed up with high schools for an orientation initiative aimed at fifth-year students of ITIS and IPSIA in Conegliano. This was a direct and concrete encounter with the world of work, designed to prepare young people for the professional challenges of tomorrow.
Among the key participants were CSM TUBE and CSM MACHINERY, leading companies in the production of stainless steel tubes, who actively contributed to the meetings. This was an important opportunity for fifth-year students specializing in Electrotechnics, Electronics, Mechanics, and Mechatronics, and for the Institutes involved in the initiative. As a tangible demonstration of their commitment to building strong bridges between education and industry, CSM MACHINERY also donated a lathe.
Competence and Curiosity: The Keys to Global Professional Success
The clear focus of the presentations was: “to know, to be curious, to study, to ask questions, even at the workplace.” As the speakers explained, “Only with a spirit of continuous learning is it possible to grow and consciously navigate one’s professional path.”
The dialogue with students also covered very practical topics: how to work in international contexts, what it means to move abroad for work, how life changes when entering a company, and what are the most in-demand soft and hard skills today
Commitment and Vision: The Future of Technical Education with CSM Group
“Being present in schools is an honor and a privilege for us,” stated Trolese, “and we will never tire of creating connections, offering tools, listening, and giving back value. My father Giorgio, the company’s founder, and my brother Marco, President of CSM TUBE, also attended a similar institute. This is another reason why we are keenly aware that qualified professional and technical training lays the groundwork for a more conscious and prepared professional future.”
Special thanks were extended to the teachers of ITIS and IPSIA in Conegliano, and to the students who participated with interest and involvement in these days. This initiative is part of a broader collaboration between businesses and educational institutions, which is fundamental for building the future of the local economy, starting precisely with the young people of the area.
The goal is to continue on this path, strengthening the bond between the productive and scholastic worlds even further, so that new generations can enter companies with conscious and concrete preparation. The hope is that these experiences become a common practice in the local educational landscape, because only through direct contact with the working reality can a solid bridge be built towards the professional future of young people.
